By now, you’re probably very familiar with how racking can support businesses with space utilisation and the challenges faced by modern warehouses in the UK.

However, we think it’s always a good idea to showcase successful racking implementations by analysing the different challenges faced by our customers and what positive outcomes came from working with our team.

In this article, we uncover the three racking case studies that stand out with their own unique challenges and opportunities.

A variety of palletised storage for Springpack

Springpack supplies and delivers all the packaging a business could ever need. Their warehouse storage is paramount to the work carried out.

As Springpack grew and their services became more in demand, so did their Warehouse Storage requirements.

They had a difficult task ahead as each of their products required a variety of pallet storage, with different dimensions to ensure the packaging would fit.

The amount of detail required in this project was of the highest degree. Down to the labelling systems needed. Each and every aspect of this project was as important as the next. If the numbers didn’t add up, it was detrimental to the amount of storage that could be utilised in this warehouse.

Since the installation by the team at Total Interiors, Springpack has now moved fully into their new warehouse.

They keep in touch with us to let them know how things are going. The strong relationship that was made during this project is one which Total Interiors want to continue.

Working with local businesses and national companies alike, it is always important to build strong working relationships. This means, high detail, trust and efficiency are always the focus. It allows each team member to do what they do best.

Growing retailer, Procook, required expert storage support

Since being listed on the London Stock Exchange in November 2021, ProCook, the UK’s leading direct-to-consumer specialist kitchenware brand, is on a mission of growth.

With internet purchasing skyrocketing during the Pandemic, ProCook found that they were quickly running out of room at their now old warehouse. They were using additional external storage and moving stock back and forth between two sites to make operations work.

One of their aims of fitting out their new site was to have one bulk holding of stock for ecommerce and retail.

To achieve their goal of having a bulk holding of stock plus room for growth, we installed 2700mm, 3000mm, and 3600mm bays of pallet racking and 2800mm bays of long span shelving.
